Deployment

Deployed from your repository, into your accounts.

We deploy what we build through a Git repository you own, into cloud accounts you own. It's part of the scope of work at no additional cost. You hold the keys, and the providers bill you directly, with no markup and no hidden costs.

The short version

Included, owned by you, and kept on budget.

What you can count on from the first deployment to the last day of support.

  • Deployment is part of the scope of work, at no additional cost
  • Every release goes out from your Git repository through an automated pipeline
  • You have root, owner-level access to every account and asset
  • The providers bill you directly: no markup, no hidden costs
  • Every asset has a budget and spending alerts, so a mistake can't turn into a cost spike
  • We manage the assets as part of ongoing support
How a release goes out

The same path, every time.

From a change in your repository to production, without anyone deploying by hand.

  1. 01

    A reviewed change

Every change starts as a pull request in your repository, tied to the request that prompted it, and an engineer reviews it before it can go anywhere.

  2. 02

    Automated tests

The pipeline builds the system and runs its tests on every change. If a test fails, the release stops there.

  3. 03

    Staging first

The change goes to a staging environment that mirrors production, where it is checked against real examples from your business.

  4. 04

    Production

Once it passes, the pipeline promotes the same build to production. Nobody deploys from their own computer.

  5. 05

    Roll back if needed

If something isn't right, the pipeline puts the previous release back, and the runbook says exactly how.

Your accounts, your bills

The cloud accounts are opened in your name, and you hold root access to all of them.

The providers, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Cloudflare and Neon, bill your business directly at their published rates. We don't resell hosting, add a margin or bundle it into anything, so what you see on the bill is what the system costs to run.

We work inside those accounts through named, least-privilege access you grant. You can see everything we do there, and remove our access whenever you choose.

  • A budget on each asset, with alerts before spending runs past it
  • Limits on the services most likely to run away with costs
  • Costs reviewed regularly as part of ongoing support
  • Your registrar and DNS in your own account too
Set up with every deployment

What else is in place.

Separate environments

Development, staging and production are kept apart, so testing never touches the live system.

Infrastructure as code

Hosting, databases, jobs and DNS are defined in the repository, so the whole environment can be rebuilt rather than remembered.

Secrets kept safe

Keys and passwords live in the providers' secret stores and are referenced by name, never written into the code.

Monitoring and alerts

Uptime, failures and unusual activity are watched, and alerts go to the people who need them.

Runbooks

Deploy, roll back, restore a backup and rotate a credential, each written down step by step in your repository.

Managed after launch

Under ongoing support, we deploy updates, apply patches, watch costs and keep the assets healthy.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Does deployment cost extra?
No. Setting up the accounts, the pipeline and the first deployment is part of the scope of work, at no additional cost. After launch, deployments are covered by ongoing support.
Who owns the cloud accounts?
You do. They're opened in your business's name, you hold root, owner-level access, and the providers bill you directly. We work inside them through named accounts you can remove at any time.
What stops a cloud bill from spiking?
Every asset gets a budget and spending alerts when it's set up. If usage heads past what's expected, someone hears about it before it becomes a surprise on the bill, and we review costs regularly as part of support.
Can our own IT team deploy?
Yes. The pipeline, the infrastructure and the runbooks are all in your repository, so your team or another firm can release changes the same way we do.

What is manual work costing your business?

Repetitive admin, missed follow-ups and disconnected systems take time away from running your business. Bring us one process that slows your team down. We'll help you understand what could improve, how much time you could recover, and what it might cost to implement.
