HIPAA-compliant AI systems for Salt Lake City healthcare. We come to you.

We build AI and automation for medical supply companies, practices, device makers and IPAs on a HIPAA-compliant tech stack, every platform under a BAA. Full auditing and near real-time intrusion detection are built in from the start. So the system is HIPAA and HITECH compliant by design, and auditable whenever you need to show your work.

Built in, not bolted on

Compliance starts with what we build on.

Every healthcare system we build includes these four things. They aren't an upgrade, and they aren't added at the end.

01

A HIPAA-compliant tech stack

Every platform that touches patient data, from Microsoft Azure and AWS to Neon and Anthropic's API, runs under its own business associate agreement. We sign one with you too.

02

Full auditing

Access logs and audit controls on every system that touches patient data, so you can show who opened a record, who changed it and when. With maintenance, a HIPAA monitoring log comes to you every month.

03

Near real-time intrusion detection

The system checks for unusual activity at a short, set interval. When it finds some, it shuts off that user's access straight away and alerts your management and us on screen.

04

Encrypted, and only what’s needed

Data is encrypted in transit and in storage. The system keeps only the data its workflow needs, nothing more.

Our systems are designed to be HIPAA and HITECH compliant. Compliance also depends on how your organization uses the system, so we set the controls up with you and document them. We don't claim a certification, because HIPAA doesn't have one.

See it in a live build: the sales tracking system for a medical supply company, or how we handle security and backups.

Where the work gets stuck

Your core system handles the transaction. The work that decides your margin happens around it: intakes and reorders that stall, sales nobody can attribute, reports that take days, and records chased from other organizations.

We’ve built this layer for healthcare companies. Here are two examples. For one, NikoHealth stayed the billing system and we built the controlled process around it; intake and reorder now need 30% fewer offshore staff. For the other, Brightree stayed the backend system and we built the real-time sales tracking its reports couldn’t give; reporting went from more than 5 days a month to under 30 minutes.

  • Intakes and reorders that stall without anyone noticing
  • Sales and channel results reported days late, and weeks after the fact
  • Orders billed before the documentation is complete
  • Outside records that arrive after the visit they were needed for

Why in person

A healthcare process is easier to see than to describe.

Watching an intake coordinator work for ten minutes shows where the order really stalls. No patient record has to leave the room for that.

So the review happens at your office, and so does the handover.

  1. 01

A free review at your office

Thirty minutes on one recurring process: how it runs today, where it stalls, and who ends up handling it.

  2. 02

A BAA and a scoping call

If it's worth doing, we sign a BAA, map the process and the data it touches, and give you a fixed-price proposal.

  3. 03

A build beside your core system

On the HIPAA-compliant stack, in cloud accounts your organization owns, with auditing and intrusion detection switched on before any patient data flows.

  4. 04

    Handover where you work

We walk your team through it at your office, audit logs included, and leave the documentation behind.

When something goes wrong

In healthcare, the edge cases matter most. So anything clinical, urgent, unclear or quality-related goes to a person, and nothing we build makes a clinical or reportability decision.

  • Uncertain patient, provider or device matches go to staff, never filed on a guess
  • Payer submissions, releases of information and complaint decisions are reviewed by people first
  • Messages to other offices, providers and patients use wording you approve
  • If a connection fails, work falls back to the queue your team already uses
Works with what you already have

The simplest automation that works.

Your core systems are worth keeping. We work alongside them on the records and requests that come from outside your organization.

  • Your EHR or practice management
  • Brightree
  • NikoHealth
  • Quality management systems
  • Credentialing platforms
  • E-fax and referral inboxes
  • Payer portals
  • Clearinghouses
  • More+

Where we'd leave things alone. EHRs and patient engagement tools already handle scheduling, check-in and patient messaging, DME billing platforms manage orders and claims, and quality systems hold device records well. We check what you have first, and work on the handoffs still left to your staff.

  1. 01

    Configure what you have

Your platform may already do it. It just isn't set up for how you work.

  2. 02

    Connect your systems

Tools that work fine on their own, joined so nobody retypes between them.

  3. 03

    Replace a narrow tool

Where a costly subscription does a small, stable job, owning a replacement can win.

  4. 04

    Build custom

When an important workflow needs something no product does at a sensible price.

The economics

Run your own numbers, four ways.

Time saved isn't money saved unless something changes. So this keeps four kinds of benefit apart, and never counts the same hours twice.

What would automating this be worth to you?

7 short questions about the time your team spends chasing records, orders, authorizations and credentialing documents, one at a time, each with what to enter and why we ask. Skip any you don't know. Your answers stay in your browser.

Your answers are worked out in your browser and never leave this page.

Question 1 of 7

Add up the time your intake, records, billing and quality staff spend chasing records, orders, authorizations and credentialing documents. Count checking for updates, calling and texting people, retyping details and searching for documents. A rough guess is fine.

hours a week

FAQ

Questions people ask

Do you build HIPAA-compliant AI systems in Salt Lake City and Park City?
Yes. Loque Logic builds AI and automation systems for medical supply companies, practices, device manufacturers and IPAs across Salt Lake City and the rest of the Wasatch Front from North Davis to Provo, plus Park City, Heber City, Summit County and the Wasatch Back. We're based in Park City and meet clients at their own offices.
What makes your AI systems HIPAA and HITECH compliant?
Every system is built on a HIPAA-eligible tech stack, with each platform that touches patient data, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Neon and Anthropic's API among them, under its own BAA, and we sign a BAA with you. Data is encrypted in transit and in storage, every access is logged, and intrusion detection is built in. Our systems are designed to be HIPAA and HITECH compliant; compliance also depends on how your organization uses the system, so we set the controls up with you and document them.
Can we audit who accessed patient data?
Yes. Every system that touches patient data has access logs and audit controls, so you can see who opened a record, who changed it and when. With maintenance, you also get a HIPAA monitoring log every month.
How does the intrusion detection work?
The system checks for unusual activity at a short, set interval. When it finds some, it shuts off that user's access straight away and alerts your management and Loque Logic on screen, so a problem is contained while someone looks into it.
Do we have to replace Brightree, NikoHealth or our EHR?
No. Your core system stays where it is and keeps handling orders, claims and billing. We build the process, reporting and tools around it, reading and writing its data through its API, or through RPA where the API can't.
Do we need to share patient records for the free workflow review?
No. The review is about how a process runs, not about any patient. We look at the workflow with you at your office, and nothing with patient information needs to leave the building.
How much does a healthcare automation project cost?
A typical automation build is $3,000 to $12,000. That’s a typical range, not a quote. Your fixed price comes out of scoping, and it can be less or more depending on how complex the work is. Projects are fixed-price, with room for small adjustments and a written change order for anything bigger. Ongoing support is optional and usually $250 to $3,000 a month.
We're a supplier, manufacturer or IPA, not a practice. Does this apply?
Yes. Medical supply companies, device manufacturers, IPAs and health plans chase the same kind of outside paperwork, under different rules. We design around the ones that apply to you, and your compliance lead checks how it's set up.
Will prior authorizations come back faster?
Not necessarily, and we won't promise that. Payers decide on their own timeline. What changes is the time your staff spend preparing, checking and chasing each request.
