What protects you
The code should live in a repository you own, and the system should run in cloud accounts opened in your name and billed to you. Then nothing depends on the developer keeping an account open.
It should be documented as it is built, not at the end: how it works, how to deploy it, how to restore a backup and what each connection does. Standard, widely used tools matter too, because a new team recognizes them.
How Loque Logic handles it
Everything we build runs in your accounts from the first day. The documentation lives beside the code, and AI updates it every time the code changes, with an engineer reviewing each update. So it’s ready to hand over on any day, not only at the end of a project.
Questions to ask any developer
Whose account does it run in? Who owns the repository? Where’s the documentation, and when was it last updated? Can another firm take it over without calling you? If the answers are vague, get them in writing before you sign.
